So, haven't been up to much lately, on the writing or anything front .... Sort of trying to fix on a couple of my remaining projects Equinara wise.

Been active on the thought side of things though ..... mainly trying to figure out the spiritual side of things - not the religious side of things. Been provoked by the fact that I've recently been re-reading the two Watership down novels ... as well as having discovered the cartoon series that was aired on TV around 1999-2001.
Before I continue, figured I'd do a brief mini-review while I'm on the subject ..... I'm usually fairly critical of films/animated series I like ..... and I can definitely appreciate/sympathise with some of the comments I've seen while browsing DA ... definitely think changing Blackberry's sex was a bit dodgy just so the charrie could have a romantic storyline with Captain Campion, and I can't see why they had to replace Hyzenthlay with Primrose, especially since she became co-chief rabbit in Tales from Watership. Also think that the fact that they rearranged some of the episodes and events from the book was a bit suspect too. That being said, I still think it was interesting - there were some new tales about El-alhrairah, so I don't think it was all that bad - in parts I certainly found the extended storyline about the feud between Woundwort and the Watership down rabbits interesting, though the ending was a bit OTT.

Anyway, reading Watership down got me fixed on the legend/folklore side of things, which is probably the best side of WD in IMO, and in particular the Black Rabbit of Inle ... kind of wondering what kind of a spirit realm there is in my world, and what the equivalent of the Black Rabbit is ..... doubt it's one of my three sibling gods, because the other two would probably take exception to the other two being allowed to mediate the transition. Toying with the idea that Protyrinaron might be involved, but I'm not sure ....
